The goal of the Mardi Gras Track Club is to create a learning environment for track and field athletes in the surrounding metropolitan area.

Through our consortium of coaches, volunteers and benefactors, the Mardi Gras Track Club has been able to create this learning and training environment for our members.

While competing in local, regional and national track meets is a part of the Mardi Gras Track Club schedule, the day to day practice and dedication by our club members to their sport is paramount.

Each athlete's growth and knowledge of their event will help them grow both athletically and intelectually as they move on into varsity and collegiate athletics.

An enjoyable learning experience is what Mardi Gras Track Club is all about!

The Mardi Gras Track Club is also looking for qualified event coaches to help with new prospective members. If you are a certified high school coach, CECP or past college competitor, and would like to get involved in helping local youth track and field athletes, send an e-mail to the Director of Coaching, Doug Fraley. We will contact you about the club.
