Mardi Gras Track Club Membership Now Open!

Mardi Gras Track Club is a member of the AAU National Club Program. By joining the MGTC, you will become a member of AAU.

While the Mardi Gras Track Club schedules are not limited to AAU competiton, the AAU affords the club many benefits.

So what is the membership all about?

It begins with a committment. The athletes of the Mardi Gras Track Club are dedicated event competitors that work year around on their respected events. Athletes receive focused coaching and guidance as well as access to state of the art equipment, training programs and multi directional facility.

So what does this mean for you?

Regular practice, regular competiton and the desire to excell....period.

While our athletes have fun in their training, they earn the right to compete and travel with team members. The Mardi Gras Track Club is about a positive attitude and desire to excell.

What about Fees and Coaching? Each member of the Mardi Gras Track Club will pay a club membership fee, which includes an AAU registration and club uniform. Each athlete will have full use of the pole vault facility, equipment, and current vaulting pole inventory. Regular practice is expected and a regular work-out and log is expected of each MGTC member.

Coaching Fees-(Pole Vault & Multi Event)-Nationally certified and former 3 time NCAA Champion, Doug Fraley heads our coaching consortium. With a personal best of 19'1/4", Doug brings top level pole vault training to the MGTC. Athletes will train 4 to 5 sessions per week. The Mardi Gras Track Club membership is an all inclusive that provides training, workouts and pole vault equipment. Each session has only a few vaulters, which will maximize the personal attention to each athlete at each session.Regular training and drills are supervised as part of the regular club membership.
